New Rug Patterns

Today I added four new Halloween rug patterns to my website…..it was LONG overdue. Rug Hookers have been asking me to make smaller rug patterns so here they are! The largest one is 12″ x 18″.  Click here to check them out!

Teresa Kogut Designs for Gallerie II

Gallerie II is introducing a collection of Christmas figures, ornaments and wall décor depicting the Holy Family designed by folk artist Teresa Kogut. The collection is rendered in rich colors and naïve, delicate features reminiscent of early Renaissance art. The collection includes a Mary, Joseph and Baby figure standing 11½”, also available in a 4¾” ornament, one angel wall plaque, an angel figure and ornament. A big thank you to Gallerie II for “nailing it”. They really captured the expression and feel of my angels and Holy Family paintings. I cannot explain how exciting it is for me to be licensing this style of artwork. God gave me the gift of art and I am thrilled to be using His gift to create art that shares my faith and His word.

They’ve arrived!

The 2013 Country Bears calendars arrived last week! They sell out every year so don’t wait and miss out! I sign every calendar and if you want something special written inside, just let me know when you place your order. They are available for purchase in my shop on this website 🙂 A big thank you to all of you who have collected them over the years….I have designed this calendar since 1999 and thanks to you, I can keep designing them!

Coynes & Company will be offering an entire line of totes, purses, coin purses and a fabulous umbrella featuring my angel artwork starting January 2013. What you see pictured here is just a taste of all that is to come! These were sent to me for approval so I had to send them back 😦  I will keep you posted so you will know when to look for them in a store near you!

New Prints on Etsy!

This print and several more were added to my Etsy shop yesterday. This print is actually 3 of my paintings put together using photoshop. The angel is one, the black border another and the “beatitude” border is a third. I love the way it turned out. Imagine it with a black frame….yowza!! The price of this 8×10 print is only $15, pair it with a black frame from Hobby Lobby, Kohl, Micheals, JoAnn, TJ Maxx or Target and you’ve got yourself a gem for around $30! Makes for a great gift, too.

Rug patterns now available…

SANTA’S TREE & SNOWMAN PUNCH RUGS

Spent most of today setting up the rug patterns on my new site. It’s gettin’ there folks! A few more rugs to add next week and hopefully get some handmade one-of-a-kinds up next week too…..oh, and maybe some more original paintings …but I don’t want to push it. I’m happy with the way it is turning out and I am grateful that technology has brought us far enough that any individual (without html knowledge) can set up and manage their own website! Can you say control freak?? teehee

I have been working many hours this week  getting to know wordpress…I am figuring it out slowly. I finally, by the grace of God, figured out how to get my domain name teresakogut.com to come here to this site. I am not computer savvy at all and don’t know html in the least but I keep pressin’ on and it is coming together. So excited!

One thing I did decide to do for now is keep my blog over at blogger. It is more like a personal journal of my life’s happenings and a fun place to share recipes, photos of special occasions and random thoughts I want to share/discuss. Here I will tend to keep it more about my art, inspiration for my art, licensing ventures, new product releases and new pattern releases.

Oh no…what have I done…..

Please be patient with me…….I am just starting this new blog in hopes to have it replace my website and existing blog….but this is more than I bargained for and I am feeling a little overwhelmed……there will be quite a learning curve.

However, I do want you to check out American Artists for some of the most talented folk artists in the USA!
